Of Job Hunting, Day Care/Montessori (S)Hopping

The past weeks I've been looking for day care centers and Montessori schools for Foster at the same time I was (and still is) looking for a job. So far, I have three favorite day cares for Foster. My top choices are:

1.) Montessori Child Development Center -Of all I like this one the best just because they don't have toys, literally. The kind of toys you buy for your kids to keep them occupied. The toys they have are all educational. They encourage interaction with the children and teaches to be creative with the toys they have. The room is big enough for the toddlers. The backyard playground is ok.

2. Kids R Kids -
This should be in the number one spot too. But anyways, I like this one because the place is neat, clean and nice. They have webcams so you can monitor your child online whether you're at work or at home.

3.) KinderCare
-We've tested this daycare already. The toddler room is spaceous. The playground is ok. Full of toys, toys, and more toys.

Overall, daycares and Montessoris have their pluses and minuses. At the end of the day, you just want the best for your child. In my case, Foster has become a slave of TV and toys (guilt trip here I come). I don't want him to go to the day care and have some more toys and tv. Not that all these daycares doesn't have TVs. They do. They substitute it only for the time the children should be in the playground but if the weather isn't good, then that's the only time they are allowed to watch TV or they have a Friday date where they watch a movie complete with popcorn or something for the kids.

K, Chloe has alot of improvements since she started going to day care. I admit, before when I was dropping her off to the babysitter, wlang nangyayari. Until, I talked to Mareng Joyce (ninang ni Chloe sa Ohio, di pa alam ni Joyce kaya quiet ka lang. lol!) that being in day care makes your kid learn alot of things. Lately nakahawak na ng bottle, makes different noises etc., etc. Isa pa, dati pag may humawak lang sa kanya iiyak na yan na parang kinatay na biik!

Anyway, may Tutor Time ba sila dyan? I like them and that's where Chloe goes. Gaya ng second choice mo may camera sila to monitor them while you're away and my finger printing scanner sila pag hinatid at sinundo mo anak mo.

Have fun checking out day cares. And good luck on your looking for a job. Try by the way Office Team.

Hey hey hey whats going on! lol. Haaaay salamat mare sa advice. Talagang nilalasap ko advice mo dahil ako'y mangiyak ngiyak na ngayon pa lang. hu hu hu! lol! di nga mare, thanks talaga.

Hey girl! Nabasa ko blog mo about your and/or Foster's experience. Hay naku don't be. Alam mo ba na ganyan ako sa first day of Chloe's day care halos magU-turn ako sa freeway. Hahaha! Pero she needs to grow independently specially mag-isang anak lang (siguro) namin ni pareng David mo.

Cheer up! Simulan mo na maghanap ng work. Kaka-enjoy. :D
